Scrubs DVD
The origin of the show is based on the experiences of Dr. Jonathan Doris, as a resident physician Interior Brown Medical School, which served as inspiration for the college friend and creator Bill Lawrence.
Scrubs is produced by ABC, a unit of production, although it was transmitted by rival NBC. According to show runner Lawrence, the arrangement is unusual, at least for 2007: "The show is a dinosaur, on a network and the other one hundred percent" and, as it is now in syndication, which makes it a lot "of money for Touchstone." He and Braff confirmed ABC have broadcast the seventh season NBC had refused to do so.

Medical Advisors
Scrubs writers work with several medical advisors, including doctors Jonathan Doris, Jon Turk, and Dolly Klock. Their names serve as a basis for the names of characters John Dorian, Chris Turk and Molly Clock (played by Braff, Faison and Heather Graham, respectively). At the end of the eighth season "My Final," the JD "real" Jonathan Doris made a brief appearance as a doctor who said "goodbye" to the JD.

Scrubs is filmed on site in North Hollywood Medical Center, a real hospital out of 12,629 located on Riverside Drive in North Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles, California, however, the situation of the Sacred Heart Hospital in the fictional world Scrubs is left ambiguous. Cast and crew of the program refers to the location of San DiFrangeles ", a portmanteau of San Diego, San Francisco and Los Angeles that is intended to cover a large part of California. writers' strike and switching networks
On November 5 2007, the Writers Guild of America went on strike, prompting the production of the seventh season of waiting. When the strike began, only eighteen eleven of Scrubs' seventh season episodes had provided fully amortized. Lawrence refused to cross picket lines WGA to serve any of his duties for the show, so ABC Studios had non-WGA members finish episode twelve, the study had been in vain pressure on Lawrence to rewrite a final series before the strike.
During the strike, NBC announced that Scrubs and the Office would be replaced by Celebrity Apprentice. NBC has announced Scrubs would later put on hold for now, and fill the time interval 8-9 h with different specialties and repeat.

Zach Braff posted on his MySpace blog, April 28, 2008, eighth season consisting 18 episodes is in production, but could not say where it will be published. Then he told me, May 7, 2008, on 8 May would be the last episode NBC's Scrubs episode, which was followed by a bulletin on its MySpace page, May 12, confirming that the eighth season of Scrubs "will move to ABC.
May 13, ABC announced that Scrubs would be a midseason replacement, which aired Tuesday night at 9PM ET. Steve McPherson, president of ABC Entertainment, also said that the seasons beyond the eighth Scrubs might occur if it works well. In late November, ABC announced curriculum vitae with episodes of Scrubs back-to-back "of January 6, 2009 at 9 pm EST.
Creator Bill Lawrence said in a video interview that Season 8 is more like the first seasons in tone, with more of a focus on more realistic and dramatic story and the introduction of new characters. Courteney Cox joins the cast of the new Chief of Medicine, Dr. Maddox an arc of three episodes. The eighth season includes webisodes, Scrubs is the first season broadcast in HD.
Sarah Chalke hopes that JD and Elliot end back together, comparing them to friends characters Ross and Rachel, who has been approached several times in the show. In his first three seasons, Scrubs received Emmy nominations for casting, edit and write a comedy. After season 4, the program received additional nominations for Best Actor in a Comedy Series (Braff), Best Editing for Multi-camera of the series (although the series is mostly filmed with one camera, Episode 4.17 "My life in four cameras, a short style Multi-camera), and quality. The program also won in 2002 and 2008 Humanitas Prize in the category of 30-minutes.
Braff has been named a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Television Series, Comedy or Musical in 2005, 2006 and 2007, but lost to Jason Bateman for Arrested Development in 2005, with Steve Carell of The Office in 2006, and Alec Baldwin of 30 Rock in 2007.
Scrubs won a George Foster Peabody Award for his 2006 season, including mentioning The Wizard of Oz tribute "My Way Home."
At the 59th Primetime Emmy Awards, launched in September 2007, the episode "My Music" was nominated for five awards in four categories: best director for a Comedy Series (Will Mackenzie), spotlighting the music Parents and lyrics ("It comes down to Poo" and Guy Love "), outstanding musical direction (Jan Stevens) and its unique blend for a Comedy or drama series (half hour) and Animation (Joe Foglia, Peter J.
