When a child of bloodstained choir (Edward Norton) is currently running a scene of the crime, his conviction seems certain. But when arrogant defense attorney Martin Vail (Richard Gere) steps, the question of the possible culpability of the child may be less important than winning the case. Based on the novel by William Diehl, twisting thriller offers a perfect police procedure with characters that are deeper than it seems. It is a good movie. I little bit of gore, but not much, and a very good twist at the end
